Each month we are highlighting one of these outstanding partners and this month’s Most Valuable Partner is Courtney Fleenor, Loan Officer Assistant at Union Home Mortgage’s Lee Summit, MO branch!
Courtney has always been a fantastic supporter of the Union Home Mortgage Foundation. She is quick to participate in events, fundraising efforts, signature programs, donation drives, and more! We interviewed Courtney to learn more about why she supports the UHM Foundation and the other ways in which she is active in her community:
Q: Why do you support the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: “I personally feel that volunteering is vital to any community and I love that UHM has such a focus on it. I love how our four pillars help individuals grow and in turn help make our communities a little stronger.”
Q: How do you support the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: “I participated in the virtual 5k Challenge, just started donating through payroll deduction, and cannot wait to volunteer in our community. I hope to attend the Gala in 2021! I am really looking forward to the opportunity to work within my community and help support the 4 pillars, once COVID-19 restrictions allow!”
Q: What is your favorite memory of working with the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: “I had an absolute blast completing the 5k Challenge, 5k for each pillar. I love to kayak, so I even kayaked one!”
Q: How are you involved in other organizations or volunteerism in your community?
A: “I sit on the Lake Lotawana Beautification Commission, a member of our community club, volunteer with our local Optimist chapter, and hopefully will be volunteering at Harvesters once they allow groups back into the facility.”
