We are incredibly grateful for all the wonderful Union Home Mortgage Partners who make our work at the Foundation possible every day! Each month, we like to highlight one of these awesome partners. This month is Erich Earhart, Branch Manager and Loan Officer at Union Home Mortgage’s Royersford, Pennsylvania branch!
Erich has been in the mortgage business since 2001 and with Union Home since 2009. He has helped over a thousand clients buy or refinance their home. He has received the Customer Service Award with Union Home Mortgage and is also a 3-time member of their Presidents Club. Erich lives in East Vincent Township Chester County with his wife and two daughters.
We interviewed Erich to learn more about why he supports the UHM Foundation and the other ways he is active in his community:
Q: Why do you support the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: “It’s a great Foundation that supports many organizations that need support both in our community and in the country- like education, financial literacy and housing. It is great to have the support and ability to be able to give back to our community partners here with the backing of the UHM Foundation. We have a responsibility to make sure this place is better than when we got here!”
Q: How do you support the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: ‘I enjoyed participating in the virtual 5k this year (2020), it was a great opportunity to do something fun and to try to get a lot of great people involved. Our office also has supported the yearly Partner Up for Plates food drive as well as the Partner Backpack Project school supply drive.”
Q: What is your favorite memory of working with the Union Home Mortgage Foundation?
A: “The Foundations donation of 10 laptops to East Vincent Elementary School from us! Such a great thing we’ve done this past year that helped tons. It is just great to be able to help folks in our community who need help either financially or other forms of support.”
Q: How are you involved in other organizations or volunteerism in your community?
A: “Locally in PA, I am a volunteer at Connection Church here and also help support some school organizations at Owen J Roberts like the Friends of the Arts program. I am always looking for great places that need help or support in the community here.”
