In an ongoing effort to support and improve local communities, the Union Home Mortgage Foundation is renewing their partnership with Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based nonprofit The Life of a Single Mom with a $10,000 grant towards their Single Mom University program.
Baton Rouge, LA – April 15, 2022 – In an ongoing effort to support and improve local communities, the Union Home Mortgage Foundation is giving back by donating $10,000 to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based nonprofit The Life of a Single Mom.
The Life of a Single Mom helps improve the lives of single mothers by providing access to support groups and educational courses covering three core areas: Parenting, Finances, and Health & Wellness. With help from the Foundation’s donation, the organization will provide 50 single mothers with free access to its online Single Mom University. At Single Mom University, participants can access more than 150 self-paced courses that cover the topics of parenting, financial literacy and workforce development. Overall, the organization enrolls 2,500 new single moms onto the platform annually.
